Ram Kapoor is an independent, prosperous, successful, and well-known businessman from Mumbai who is in his mid-forties. Priya Sharma, a working-age woman from a middle-class family, is in her early 30s. When Natasha Kapoor, the half-sister of Ram, and Kartik Sharma, Priya’s brother, start a relationship, they must take into account the Hindu cultural taboo against younger siblings getting married before their senior siblings. Ram hasn’t chosen a marriage partner yet, so Kartik and Natasha’s nuptials aren’t official yet.
Even though Priya disapproves of the financial discrepancy between their families, Ram and Priya accept the Punjabi custom of watta satta which clearly establishes the shadow of mutual threat between both marriages. Ram and Priya both consider one another as arrogant and argumentative. Fortunately, as time passes, their chemistry strengthens and Priram forms a strong Love bond.
Natasha struggling to adjust to her weakened financial situation, and Kartik and Natasha are in danger of divorcing. Ram and Priya argue because of the divorce. Five Year Leap in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain: BALH Wiki Story
After five years, Priya resides in Dubai with Pihu, their daughter. Ram and Priya come into contact. Ram demands custody of Pihu because he is angry at Priya for leaving him. To be with Ram, Priya goes back to the Kapoors. Myra and Pari, their daughters, were born.
After eight years, Pihu, who has a pampered brat, is in love with Varun, a friend from college. Priya objects because Varun’s father was possibly Ram’s candidate. Due to this, Pihu despises Priya. Pihu’s parents agree to let her marry Samar after she makes a threat to commit suicide if they don’t. Samar’s child is growing inside Suhani. After Samar marries Pihu, she kills him. Ram is detained after being charged with Samar’s murder. After Priya establishes his guilt, Pihu is reunited with her. Juhi attempts to keep Ram and Priya apart but is caught and taken into custody, and Ram and Priya reunite.

Priya Sood belongs to a middle-class family who is supporting her mother and siblings financially. She became strong the day her father Mahendra, left her mother for another woman and abandoned them. After all the suffering her character shows no hatred toward her father.
Ram Kapoor is a well-known businessman who was dumped by his fiancée Vedika and now devotes his complete attention to his job and family, which includes his stepmother and siblings Shubham and Shivina. Shivina and Akshay are in a relationship, but Akshay refuses to wed before Priya, and then Ram weds her, but Nandini is dissatisfied. Vedika tells Priya about their previous relationship to win Ram back. In contrast, Ram and Priya succeed despite all the difficulties.
Eshan and Varun, Sara’s sons, move to Mumbai to live with Sara. With the support of Krish, Ram decided to reopen the investigation into his father’s death. Mahendra and Varun are both in jail after being charged with this crime. Shivina attempts to leave the house after being provoked by Shubham, but she is pushed into the stairway by Eshan. Finally reuniting, Ram, Priya, and Pihu, a strong bond is build up btw them Later, Ram is made aware of Vedika, Shubham, and Nandini in front of him before Ram has a horrific accident and loses his memory. While Priya appears as Lovely Singh and works as Ram’s assistant, Nandini devises plans to bring Ram and Vedika closer together.
She makes Shubham learn a lesson by forcing him to pursue self-reliance, much to Nandini’s surprise since Shubham no longer thinks about helping her. Ram continues to improve his memory while deceiving everyone into believing he is losing it. Priya, on the other hand, knows of her pregnancy and comes up with a scheme to support Ram in regaining his memory by posing as Krish’s wife.
