Ekta Kapoor is the producer of the Hindi-language romance drama television serial Kundali Bhagya. It made its Zee TV debut on 12 July 2017, starring Shraddha Arya, Manit Joura, Ruhi Chaturvedi, Sanjay Gagnani, and Shakti Arora as the main leads. Preeta and Srishti Arora left their birthplace of Nasik when their father, Raghuveer Arora, passed away. Before passing away, he urged his daughters to travel to Mumbai to be with their mom, Sarla. Preeta joins the Luthra family and works as a therapist for their grandmother Bani Luthra, whose eldest grandchild Rishabh, and younger grandchild Karan have a friendly relationship; Rishabh is a successful businessman and Karan is a popular cricket player.
Through this encounter, interpersonal interactions expand and evolve. The relationship between Karan and Preeta progressively develops into a friendship, and they subsequently fall in love. Following a miscommunication, Karan develops a hatred for Preeta and marries her out of anger. Although they settle their disputes, Sherlyn and Prithvi continue to put barriers in their way to separate them.
Preeta and Karan adopted Pihu three months later. It was later discovered that Sonakshi, Karan’s college classmate, and one-sided lover, convinced Preeta that she couldn’t get pregnant and provided her with medicines that would unwittingly prevent this from happening. Preeta is expelled from the Luthra household after Sonakshi employs a goon to arrange an accident in which Pihu perishes. The incident is blamed on Preeta by the whole Luthra family. Preeta and her grandma depart for Bangalore.
Two Year Leap in Kundali Bhagya:
After two years, Preeta is back in Mumbai, where she is working as a physiotherapist in a medical facility. She quickly finds out about the events of the previous two years, including Prithvi’s takeover of the Luthras’ assets and businesses and Mahesh’s mental instability. Rishabh was trapped in Dubai as a result of a case that Prithvi and Sherlyn had prepared and plotted against him. She quickly starts to resolve all of the family’s issues and succeeds in bringing him back. To make Karan think Preeta and Rishabh are engaged in an affair, someone poisoned his thoughts. After Natasha and Roxy throw a drunken Karan off the dam, it is assumed that he has died. Preeta learns that she is carrying Karan’s child. Rishabh weds Preeta during the Chadar Andazi ceremony, which is a Luthra tradition.
After five years, Kavya, the girl born to Preeta and Karan, is their only child. She is drawn to a strange man named Arjun Suryavanshi, who is Karan, underwent plastic surgery, and suffers from memory loss as a result of his accident. After recalling everything, Arjun is determined to kill Rishabh and Preeta since he thinks they were responsible for driving him over the dam.

He discusses Anjali’s false allegation against Rishabh. Anjali claims that when Arjun was innocent, Luthras filed for the protection order first. Rishabh admits to her that he also became upset after being implicated in a false case. He claims that despite the hardships he endured as a result of Anjali, he chose not to hold her responsible. He explains to her that Preeta made that choice because Arjun was told to avoid Kavya but did not take their advice. Sameer advised him to check the house.
Rakhi is asked by Srishti if Kareena is dating anyone. Rakhi says that nobody is born to impress Kareena. The magician queries Kavya regarding Preeta. Preeta went to bring water, Kavya replies. Arjun overhears their chat and inquires of the Magician as to his motives in bringing up Preeta. Preeta and an air hostess are brought there by terrorists. Terrorist is urged to leave Preeta by Rakhi. Kayva threatens the terrorist. Arjun promises to take her to a secure location.

The pilot informs the terrorist that something has gone wrong and the plane is not operating at full capacity, so he will have to crawl inside the cargo to check the wires. As he is going solely to the commissioner’s office, Rishabh instructs Anjali to go with him. Additionally, he reminds Anjali that now is not the time to settle old scores but rather to unite and work to save one another’s families.
