Yeh Hai Chahatein is a Star Plus television serial in the Hindi language that was created by Ekta Kapoor. When Rudra learns that Saransh is Rajeev’s son rather than Preesha’s, he swears to exact revenge on his brother. Rudra unexpectedly steps in for Yuvraj on the day of their marriage and marries Preesha to gain complete guardianship of Saransh. Preesha concedes to stay in the Khurana home for Saransh after being found innocent. Rudra and Preesha pose as a loving couple to avoid the childcare department from taking Saransh.
Yeh Hai Chahatein: Rudraksh and Preesha Love Story
As, in YHC serial, they (Rudra and Pressha) pretend to be in love to please Saransh and everyone else, but they start to have real affection for one another. At their friends’ wedding, despite Yuvraj’s attempts to create division, they become closer. And, Rudra aids in Saransh’s enrollment in a reputable institution. When Saransh is abducted, Rudra and Preesha get closer as they search for him. When Preesha is hurt, Rudra tends to her needs and supports her when she is advocating for a COVID patient. Also, Preesha encourages Rudra to apply for admission to Saaransh school so he can continue his study there.
However, Rudra is unable to adequately communicate his feelings for Preesha. As Rudra continues to impress her by standing up for her family, Preesha begins to doubt her feelings. After appearing in an interview together, Rudra and Preesha gain popularity. Further, Preesha is seen by Rudra slapping Yuvraj and telling him to leave. But music producer Rahul causes a misconception between them, leading Rudra to think Preesha still has feelings for Yuvraj and is deceiving him. Rudra warns Preesha that she will know the full depth of his hate once they both get into a heated argument.
Moreover, Rudra fights to keep Preesha far from him despite torturing her out of love for her. Using his backup vocalist Keerti, Rudra uses his concert to make Preesha jealous. Rudra is held accountable for Keerti’s murder. Rudra is saved by Preesha. When Rudra learns that Preesha is not Saaransh’s biological mother, Rahul admits to lying to him. Preesha is pursued by Rudra, who apologizes and expresses his love for her enthusiastically while it is pouring outside. In front of the entire family, he collapses at her feet. To restart their relationship, they depart for their honeymoon. The terrible Mahima, Saransh’s mother, returns, interrupting their honeymoon. For his trust fund, Mahima wants to gain custody of Saaransh.

After five years Preesha is parenting her and Rudraksha’s daughter, Ruhi Khurana, in the meantime Rudra has continued to live with Preesha’s flashbacks and has evolved into a cynical abusive drunk.
Since, Preesha and their daughter Ruhi are hiding out in Rohtak, where Rudra would perform. Rudra saves Ruhi, who is also a talented singer, and the two of them become close. Preesha goes to Rudra’s concert because she is excited to see him, and he sees her momentarily before she leaves. Ruhi saves him from thugs after he flees to find her. Rudra asks to meet her mother while being hidden by Ruhi at a house behind their home. Both Rudra and Preesha experience frequent hits and misses where they both become aware of the other’s presence through touch. Rudra becomes fond of Ruhi, and the two of them develop a great relationship. In the end, Ruhi wishes Rudra were her father.
Rudra is heartbroken a year later and keeps looking for Preesha. While Saaransh is furious with him for seeing the conflict between Rudra and Preesha, in which Rudra lost his temper and questions why Preesha would abandon their true son for Saaransh, Ruhi takes care of a dispirited Rudra. It has been discovered that Armaan poisoned Preesha in Mumbai, causing her to lose her memory, and manipulated her into thinking that Rudra had forced them to be married and that their relationship was terrible to the point where he had tried to kill her. Each time Preesha mentions Rudra’s name, she has hysterical breakdowns. Nobody is allowed to touch her, not even her. Unknowingly, Preesha and Rudra miss one another.
Rudra and Pressha Separate their ways:
Twenty years later, Nayantara’s mother, Malti Iyer, is preparing for her daughter’s (Preesha’s twin) wedding, but the ceremony is postponed. Nayantara’s looks and manner of speaking back cause her to be despised by society. As the Iyers are having financial difficulties. Malti is convinced that Nayan can find a soulmate who would treat her with the respect she deserves. Samrat, Preesha and Rudraksh’s son, who resembles Rudraksh, is shown to be a well-known rock star in London. Samrat dislikes his appearance because it is identical to his father’s. Revati poisoned Samrat’s mind into thinking that Rudraksh and Preesha are murderers of her family, yet she nevertheless adopted him and turned him into a rock star. Samrat disrespects women and is a playboy.

In Today’s Episode of Yeh Hai Chahatein, Samrat requests Nayantara to stop weeping during a humorous dialogue they have while separated in the bathroom. Samrat becomes Nayantara’s first client when she later accepts a temporary position as a physiotherapist at the hotel where he is staying. Samrat asks Nayantara to come up on top of him after giving her a flirtatious glance at her feet. As a result of her offense, Nayantara gives him a very harsh message. When Nayantara notices his handkerchief and recognizes him as the person from the washroom, she turns to admonish him. This is the first time they can see each other’s faces clearly and they appear to be soulmates.
Both Samrat and Nayantara’s families are present at a wedding where there is intense bickering. Samrat behaves badly with Nayantara, urging her to sleep with him, and she slaps him, questioning his parenting. By mistake, Nayantara finds herself in Samrat’s room where he is waiting for a girl. Samrat travels to Khurana’s residence while drunk and falls into a rubbish can, where Nayantara saves him. Both talk truthfully about their loneliness, and a drunken Samrat compliments Nayantara and explains the origin of her name. Samrat thanks Nayantara for rescuing him later at the cocktail party.
